We acknowledge that some Carers will come with Families who they have built a rapport with or will have a good reputation in areas of Auckland. If they represent ADAPT.ED. well and have new families join us long term as a result then we want to reward them in an appropriate way.
In addition to the Carers base pay, we will pay Carers a commission of 20% the total net income generated from a new Families first three months of using ADAPT.ED.’s services on a long term basis.
-
Carers will need to have largely assisted in the process resulting in the new Family utilising a long term service from one of the ADAPT.ED Carers.
This process resulting in the new Family joining ADAPT.ED can be from the Carer representing ADAPT.ED in their own time, communicating the benefits of our services, advocating for their Team Members, and so forth.
The Family must have committed to three months of regular weekly Education and/or Care. This can be from as little as three consecutive hours a week during the three months and can consist of Daytime and Nighttime services. The Family must complete the three months before the Carer is paid the commission.
The commission will be paid to the Carer initiating the Family joining and therefore does not have to be the Carer that the Family receives the service by. The Family can choose any Carer they prefer and from whom is available at the time of Booking.

If the Family cancels for a week or more during the three months and doesn’t do so within the cancellation policy time frame resulting in an invoice generated, then the commission agreement will be honoured.
If the Family cancels for a week or more during the three months and does do so within the cancellation policy time frame resulting in no invoice generated, however…
a. resumes the long term care, then the three months will exclude their period of absence and therefore the commission will be honoured.
b. dosnt’t resume the long term care, then the commission will not be honoured.
Same concept applies to if a Carer cancels on the Family.
